Well Yesterday I went to my 3rd competition at Thunderhill and basically got FUCKED!
That is my general opinion on it, and I am entitled to it! Funny thing is there are a lot of other people who believe I got the shaft as well. So the way I feel about it is not just in my head. I can quote one driver who said this to me after the “Top 16” was announced… “I can’t believe I made it and you didn’t!”
This was the 1st comp all season that my car was driving right and I felt 100% confident with the cars handling. All day everyone was telling me I was killing it out there during practice. Then I make my 3 qualifying runs, 1st run was not great but should have made a medium-low score, 2nd run was good and my 3rd run was good.
So how does another driver that spun out on 2 runs and then makes a decent at best 3rd run make it to the “Top 16” and I don’t?!
Politics or bad judging?! Who knows… but I do know there are others that have the same feelings I do about what happened at yesterdays comp and other comps prior to this. So with that being said, my day will come and there is nothing you can do to stop me.
