Kelly’s Tundra… August 1, 2009 at 10:08 pm

So Kelly and I went out today and picked her up Toyota Tundra, this thing is badass! It’s the Crew Max cab, SR5, 5.7L V8, 380HP+, tow package, TRD Exhaust, etc, etc. lol It’s really nice tho and should be awesome for towing our drift cars. Anyways here are a few pics.

Just got home with the truck!

First fill up.

This what the truck estimates we will get out of that first fill up. lol

Post ASB 2009 July 31, 2009 at 11:15 pm

Well it’s been a 5 days since ASB and I am still tired! lol, the event was pretty sick! However I honestly don’t care for that track very much, personally I think that Thunderhill is a much better track both in actual course layout and in the up keep of the track itself. I ended up not taking as many pics as I had planned tho, mainly cuz of the heat. Anyways Andrew did pretty good out there, but again he is lacking power. So hopefully some time soon he will solve that problem. Anyways on to the pics.

Leaving on Friday night

Spent most of the weekend trying to stay under Luke’s aka Blu808’s easy ups.

Parade lap of the Streets of Willows with Horse Thief Mile in the background.

This a terrible pic of Flybert’s car, but in my opinion this was the best car at ASB! Dam this car is sweet!

All Star Bash… July 23, 2009 at 8:03 pm

Is this weekend, if you don’t know then educate yourself lol. Basically it is one of the best known and biggest drift event’s in the US. I would love to be drifting at this event but sadly the tranny in my car is still broke and also I am broke lol. Andrew however will be drifting this weekend so Andrew, Jon and I will be making the trek down to Willow Springs Raceway on Friday night. Woot I can’t wait!!! Below are a few links to video’s that were made from various A.S.B. events, watch these and get up to speed!

Vegas has come and gone… July 22, 2009 at 8:27 pm

So I finally have some time to update my blog, I have been stupid busy since I got back from Vegas on the 13th. As soon as I got back I had to do 2 different swaps, so in the end I had no time to relax after getting back from Vegas. I basically worked 6 days straight in the heat, so yeah I am a bit tired. Today was the first day since I got back that I could relax even tho I had to get up early to fix Kelly’s exhaust on her 240, but after that I was able to finally just relax and make this post.

Anyways, Vegas was awesome again! But dam I thought it was hot last year… this year just blew it away! When we landed on Friday it was 108F, when we got to the track after checking in at the Wynn Hotel it was still 108F. After the event ended at like 1am it was down to 98F, lol that was the cool part of the day. Saturday we went back to the track for the final day and again 108F, needless to say the evening temps were the exact same. Other than the heat it was a great event, I think the judging was way better this year than in previous years but there were still some questionable calls. Personally I think that JTP should have won the event, he just totally tore that shit up!

Sunday we went to the Vegas outlet mall… good god the HEAT! Even the 20 mph wind offered no help when the temp is up at 114F, yes you read correctly 114F! But at least the rental car we got had really good A/C in it. Then later on Sunday we hit up Margaritaville on the strip, holy shit the Nachos were fucking HUGE! I am positive they could feed 4 people and everyone would be full when they were done and if it was used as an appetizer only I am sure it could feed 6 people with ease.

Tomorrow afternoon Kelly and I leave for Las Vegas to watch the Formula D event and to run around causing trouble! hahaha This will be a much needed vacation for Kelly and for me is just another trip to Vegas to watch drifting… maybe one day I will make the trip and actually compete! Who knows?! Only time will tell, but for now I am still having fun drifitng for myself only.

A pic of the Jackson’s… June 27, 2009 at 11:41 am

This pic goes with my previous post about sprinkling the glitter. It comes from the music video by The Jackson’s called “Can You Feel It”. R.I.P. Michael 40 years of music and memories that we will never forget.

The Jacksons - Can You Feel It

Michael Jackson June 25, 2009 at 6:32 pm

RIP Michael Jackson…

It’s hard to think the man is gone,  your music touched so many generations and nations. His song “Gone To Soon” is all too true! Regardless of his lifestyle he was one of the greatest entertainers’ and musicians’ of all time.

It will be hard for me to “sprinkle dust” to the song “Can You Feel It” without tearing up. Those of you who grew up listening to that song will know exactly what I am talking about when I say “sprinkle dust”.

Crazy world… December 26, 2008 at 1:18 pm

So this past weekend was great despite I didn’t do very good in the competition on Sunday. The fact that my car had gone through so many changes mixed with the track being totally wet and me not having enough practice runs in the wet to adjust my car had everything to do with it.

Still the weekend was worth it, I had such a great time!!!

So on to what this post is really about… 2008 has been a shitty year for almost everyone and I am no exception to this. Even as bad as things are for me they could be worse… A fellow drifter & fried of mine passed away on the way home from the event on Sunday. His name was David Andrew Kula, not much is known at the moment as to what happened but what is known is that his car went across I5 into oncoming traffic and then off onto the shoulder of the road. The people who came to help him said that he was unresponsive when his car came to a stop. This prolly means Dave had already passed on before the car went off the freeway. The part that gets to me the most is no more than 10 mins before he passed away, he and I gave each other the “peace” sign when he passed me on the freeway going home that night.

One minute he is here the next he is gone… like I said it’s a crazy world. Another fellow drifter/friend of mine Alexander De Castro was killed in a motorcycle accident this year as well. I don’t understand life and I don’t think anyone does either, all I know is just make the best of it while you’re here. Cuz the one thing I do know is life isn’t fair, so have fun and be true to yourself.

SO MUCH FUN!!!! December 20, 2008 at 8:09 pm

So it was all worth the time, effort and money! I had so much fun today that it makes up for 2008 being such a shitty year! Hopefully tomorrow I will do good in the competition, but even if not today was worth it. Anyways more to come later.

It’s here! December 19, 2008 at 11:31 pm

Well tomorrow is the full track drift practice at Thunderhill and Sunday is the competition. It has been a long haul to get to this point and I can’t wait to hit the track tomorrow. I wanna say thanks to all those who helped along the way and that all the hard work that I put in will all be worth it tomorrow!
