Ok so as some of you know my girl Kelly has been looking into getting an S14 since her other car was wrecked about a month ago. We looked at a few cars and even put a deposit on one which eventually fell through, in the end we found a car in the bay area last saturday 7/5. It's an automatic with a few very minor issue's but the price was right and it was available when we needed to get it.
LOL within 5 hours of finding the car we bought it and brought it home. Needless to say this will be her fun weekend project and for the time being will be a somewhat daily driver.

The day after we brought the car home I took the diff out of the car to get welded by Jon. This is the stock rear diff still in the car.
20 mins later pulled out...
Pulled the cover and getting ready to pull the center section for clean up.
Center section out all cleaned up and being pre-heated, as you can see the bearings are covered with masking tape to prevent slag from getting on them.
Jon laying some welds down.
All welded up and ready to be put back in!

Looks good whats the mileage on her anything in the near future such as coils soon?
115K is on the ODO, and KTS coils will prolly be the next thing to happen but I dunno when at the moment.

Yup lol pink will happen for sure and it's gonna be a bad ass pink too!
I did a few other things to the car, the driver's side head light had broken tabs so I pulled it off and then straightened the head light bracket as well. The bumper cover was pulled as well so it can get painted gold to match the car. I also pulled the stock fogs to trade to Just Droo aka Drew for a good driver's side head light. Hopefully this thing will look presentable in the next week!
Front bumper removed.
Broken head light pulled out, here you can see the broken tab laying on top pf the light.
Repaired head light braket
Half nekkid front end lol

Ok got a few more updates! I went and traded the fogs for the good head light last night, then came home and installed it. The front bumper was dropped off this morning to be paited by Jason aka DUMPDSILVERADO, so it should be done today. All in all the car is looking better and better everyday!
New/used head light
Lined up, now all it needs is the bumper

Yea more than likely, but that is their own fault for not having common sense when it comes to learning how to drift. Everyone thinks you need power, when in reality it's all about good suspension and alignment.

Nothing wrong with pink, a lot of guys out there think it's gay... I personally don't care as long as the car slides well.
Also I talked to Jason about the bumper and it didn't get painted today so it will prolly be done on sunday. No biggie I won't be here to put it on this weekend anyway since Andrew, Drew, Jon and I are going to Formula D in Vegas tomorrow.

More updates! Got the bumper back from Jason today and it looks great! It still has imperfections because I didn't have Jason do any body work to it but at least it matches the car now. Anyways I slapped it back together and took some pics. Hopefully this weekend Kelly will be able to get her sideways for the first time.

Bumper looks cool back on the car. Once I get my diff welded up Kelly and I can have a body roll/snap steer contest until we get our coils.

Well I took Kelly's car over to Jon's house this weekend and he prototyped the S14 front tower bar using her car. This thing came out sweet and man it made a huge difference in the car's handling, even with the stock suspension it's still noticable. Also while I was there I painted the grill work on the bumper flat black, it looks a lot better now. So anyway on to the pics.
Masking!
Painted and ready to be reinstalled.
All done, the lighting in this pic sucks which makes it hard to tell the difference.
Here are the end plate's bolted in place.
Here you can see Jon fitting the middle brace bar.
A couple of spot welds and then we can check fitment.
All done with the mock up now time for finish welding, also in the pic you will see the first completed S13 front tower bar. Hehe there should be a lot of "S" chassis guys happy about these.
Now after a lil sanding, paint and a Stealth Custom Fab sticker.
Woohoo! All done and back in place.
Here are some fitment pics...
Valve cover.
BMC.
Cruise Control bracket.
