Took me just as many to get down that road as it did Jesse, plus he and I were only at about 4 months of sliding. How long did it take you since you want to compare?

unfortunately no....but jesse has been out there more then i have and at this point im pretty sure jesse has had more seat time then me and is still doing that that last vid doug posted of me was prolly like my 7th time actually going to that spot and sliding

I don't think that amount of time at this spot has anything to do with it.

I was in an automatic with only four months of sliding, Jesse is in an automatic with four months of sliding.

Ehh, I am not goin to argue about the amount of seat time you have had compared to Jesse. Altho he was out and watched you slide long before he had his car.

The point isn't whether or not you can.


It's that he's doing very well for having the large limitation of an Auto (speed/ability to carry the length of his drifts). Which is why he has many more "dori's", as he has to go at a much slower speed and maintain his weight transfer to connect. Plus as said, he's only 4 months in (going on 5 now).


FYI: I edited some of the above posts in the interest of 'spot etiquette'... or if you prefer something similar to 'fight club rules'. Yes we may all 'know' where this occured, but no reason to announce it blatantly to anyone else viewing the forum anonymously.

OK here is my post on this one...

First off good points Rob, Jon and Andrew.

Second Evan if you were able to slide that stretch in four on your first night congrats...I'm sure your like one in a million.

Seat time is your fault not mine. I have a job I go to school and do all the above so I can make something out of this sport. When I am working for something I work my hardest and do what ever it takes. Even if it takes me the next 5-10 years to get where Rob and Andrew are so be it.

And not quite four month straight sliding kid. There is broken up time there...
