Well Since I got sick I haven't got much done. Today I decided something needed to get done so I mounted up my front mount and cut the holes for the intercooler piping.

The core mounted I still need to add something to mount it to the bottom so it doesnt move.


How its mounted currently. Ghetto I kno

No huge updates its been hard with this shitty ass weather. I finished workin on the motor and put my clutch on and bolted up the tranny so its pretty much ready to go in i just need some nice weather

So today I finally dropped the motor in and bolted everything up theres some stuff that i still need to work out like the heater hose and put my wiring harness in since Rob finished wiring it today. Heres Some pics though

Started by setting up the ez up so incase it rained...


Then I replaced the steering rack bushings the old ones were super super shot.


Then started to drop in the motor and then it started to sprinkle so we threw the ez up up lol

Thats all I did on the car for today ill do more tomorrow prolly.

But on evans car we pulled his motor and found this reason to be the failure of his motor

Haha The pink valve cover is in my room! I didnt wanna put the motor in with that vc on cause it would scratch the paint and that SE Lip is on my front bumper

Ok so the new problem is my car will not turn over Ive checked my grounds everythings hooked up in the correct spots interrior plug is plugged in and ecu is plugged in and I completed the starting circuit. Idk why it wont crank over and thats all i want it to do not even start lol. I have like 3 plugs that arent plugged in though. More of a question directed towards rob but if anyone else knows what they do go for it!

Ok here is the deal, I took your pic and lightened it to the point that I could see where you should plugs those two empty plugs into. I also took a pic of Kelly's auto lower harness to verify that this is where these two plugs go.

NOW GO PLUG THEM IN AND YOUR CAR WILL START!

Here are both the plugs viewed from the front of the car looking at the fuse box on the passenger side. Hmmmm they look a lot like the two plugs in your pic.


Now this is your pic lightened and then with arrows to show you where they should be plugged into.

HOLY FUCK IT TURNED OVER! MOTIVATION TO WORK ON CAR IS BACK!>@$# BIG BIG BIG Thank you too Rob! Plugged those two in turned right over! I could for the life of me not find where those two went. Again Thank you very much Rob. So the car should hopefully be running soon as i find a small battery and get a radiator since i got a 5spd driveshaft.

I told you about those plugs on the bottom of the fuse box a while back to... don't ever doubt me again, you could have solved this much sooner.

Swap is basically done now. Mostly just wiring left now. Im about 95% sure I ended up giving Rob the wrong engine harness originally so hes going back through it now. That was my bad. I know When I come up more money then just what I owe him Ill have to give him for the extra wiring/saving my ass cause it would never get wired if it was left to me lol. My gf already beat me up about it cause she wanted to go to sf in the car lol. Just a pic of everything pretty much done except i have no front bumper still cause it still needs to be trimmed even more lol.

Yeee The post Ive been waiting to make. Got my harness back from Rob 2 days ago after He Rewired It which Thanks again I owe you! This time when I put the harness through the firewall suprisingly it just went right through. Took me and my friend Joe about 2min top. I swapped valve covers and fixed some other small bullshit bought powersteering fluid engine bay is still kinda messy but its a engine bay with everything actually hooked up! Lol

Congrats!

Make sure you check the timing on the motor after its all warmed up and the idle is down around 850RPM. The disconnect the TPS plug and check/set the timing.

Be very carefull driving her around...also I would be Very selective about who you let drive your car. It is your car, but you might want to think about if they break anything can they replace it at that moment...not "I will get you the money."

Thanks Rob, John, and Jessie. Sooo right now i have a seized rear driver side caliper. I was hoping to have it driving and on the streets last night. Sooo I gotta fix this caliper then bleed my brakes and hopefully ill be back out with the 14
