Here are some more pics of the progress and also a few parts.
The new wiring components for the car, Cut off switch, main fuses, connectors, relays, marine switches and a marine fuse block.
Jason using his stud gun kit to put my quarter panel back into shape.
More body work.
Here you can see the car is starting to really get torn apart... and Jesse wrote me a love note on the upper right corner of the back window.
Doors fully gutted... still need to go back and cut out the rest of the inner skin.
Started pulling the seats and the rest of the interior to make way for the cage and rest of the paint work.
Glass all removed.

Wow. With a cage like that, I'm not sure you need the rest of the car anymore. Cool stuff.

Ooh I love fabrication porn. I have to admit I was a little scared when I saw the fully gutted interior and just the steering rack sitting there. I told Jon, "that's when you say ok, I'm committed."

Got more pics of the cage progress... at this point the cage is done. There are a few small things that still need to get worked out but other than that its all finished. Next is to paint the chassis and then wire it up. Jason should be done with the doors and rear bumper soon too.
We ran into a small problem with my seating position and my helmet being closer to the cage than we wanted it to be. So we ended having to mod my seating position again... this time its lower/further back and my seat bracket is now attached to the cage and made with the same DOM tubing that the cage is made of.
Anyways on to the pics.
Started moding and fixing Jon's old S13 dash to fit my car with the cage.

Paint update!
Jason came by this weekend and we managed to get the chassis of the car painted... now all that is left to do the outside is cut and buff the chassis then put it back together.
