Indeed it was fun.

Well I put on my SPL tension control rods last night and I must say I thought my car was fairly solid but after installing those rods holy shit! lol the steering response is so much better and now when I drift the car stays on it's line a lot more. I only had a chance to do a few passes last night, so im hoping tonight I will get some more time to learn the car, I feel I am on the brink of learning a lot more with my car setup this way!!!

Well I would have to say that you are learning the 5speed ok Damn! man you were flying! The s-turn is hella loud! You were on. Even at the first spot you were going much faster than I have seen you go.
It was funny to watch the hyphy's run like roaches when you turn on the lights when we heard that siren.

That fucking dumb ass drink girl pissed me off last night! We go out of our way to make sure that there are spotters in the blind spots so we don't hit other cars. It scares me that you are as good as you are with no suspension work done to your car...lol Now you will have to get a seat that keeps you planted.

Well I think I may found out what is causing my drivers front wheel to "wobble" at full lock going 60mph, so hopefully it's fixed and I won't have that issue any more.

I also took some pics of my SPL V2 tension rods today so people can get a look at them. Andrew got hooked up on Ziptied again so I got a set of new Battle version traction rods for the rear of my car, great thing is they were a $100 less than retail!

Update time again, I put on my Battle Version blemished traction rods. So far they seem like they made the car more predictable while sideways, altho I have not had the car sideways for more than 20 seconds. So I'll see how they do later tonight. Other than that they seem really stout and they were more than a $100 off retail cuz they are not anodized red! Anyways I didn't do a long pictorial on this one cuz it's really simple just unbolt the old traction rod, adjust the new rod to stock length for now and install it.

WOOOOOOOHOOOOOOO!!!!!!! lol the traction rods made a big difference in predicatability so my drift game is up quite a bit now! Last night was the first time I topped out 2nd gear while sideways as well as initiating at 45mph. Bad part is I still have a wobble at full lock, not sure what that is but I am sure I will find eventually.

lol is that really a question?! You know i am bro. As far as I know they are the right size, they say .25 on the tops so I assume they are .25mm over. Even if not Comptech will make sure they are the right size. Thanks again for getting that stuff for me.

Well Friday I went out to slide, I was only out for a few minutes when my feul pump died on me. I ended up finding out that the fuel baffle inside my gas tank some how ripped loose and was just rolling around inside the tank. Well after clutch kicking my car sideways the aluminum baffle fell over and made contact with the upper electric contact points and shorted out my fuel pump. So now I need to replace the tank so that large peice of aluminum wont cause this problem again, as well as I am going to get a walboro fuel pump too. Shit sucks cuz I couldnt drift all weekend, altho I did get a few mins in Andrews car which was fun

More updates, I fixed the baffle problem with my gas tank as well as installed a new Walbro 255LPH High Pressure fuel pump. I also got some more stickers on the car so I can show off my sponsor names... Stealth-custom-fab.com and Loud Liquid graphix.

I went to Thunderhill this past weekend to drift, I did ok but my front tires were bald so understeer was a big issue. Even tho it wasn't a perfect drift day I got a lot of seat time which is always a good thing! One thing I got to do was drift in Javi's 240, lol man what a difference some power makes! I can't wait to get some power in my car!!!!! Anyways here is the vid of this past weekend.
